Pulp Fiction scene as played by web broswers.  Awesome

This is why I was ok with Florida beating Alabama, and why I wanted Tebow to win the Heisman again, and why I want Florida to take the National Championship.

In response to “cynical naysayers” Tebow had this to say:

“So if it’s cynical or whatnot, that’s fine. If people don’t believe it, that’s fine. There’s always going to be naysayers, people that are going to say it’s fake. But that’s fine because you can’t control everybody. But I can control what I do, my attitude, how I approach the situation. So how I approach the situation is I want to do everything in my power that football gives me to influence as many people as I can for the good because that’s gonna mean so much more when it’s all said and done than just playing football and winning championships.” (my emphasis)

Read Pat Fordes article, it’s well worth it.

After a long vacation away from all things technology, I’ve come back to hear that there will be no Steve Jobs at Macworld, 10.5.6 is causing problems (but not for me yet), there’s a major problem with IE7, and this dude made a christmas tree from 70 SCSI hard drives.  A lot can happen in the interworld in short amount of time.

Beyond catching up with emails, purchasing new toys, and fixing assorted site problems, I’m tinkering with VirtualBox to see how it stands up against VMWare Fusion and Parallels.

We can track Santa via NORAD.  Kinda like tracking your kids via GPS, but less stupid.

TUAW has a great idea.

While I know this little blog doesn’t get much traffic, I would like to give a shout-out to my friends at SomaFM. Although I’ve never met them, I’ve grown to like what they’re about a great deal. Their website and iTunes radio streams provide me with a never ending torrent of great music that I pretty much play all day.

I support them every month and would encourage anyone to check out their streams (my personal fav is Indie Pop Rocks) and, if you feel so led, donate whatever you feel comfortable with.

In the face of unrelenting pressure from big corps and the RIAA constantly telling us what to like, they’ve been a real breath of fresh air.
